F***, that's 2 bands that are still on my list to see.

My favourite is a toss up:

Metallica, July 2017 or Nov. 2009
Pearl Jam, Sept. 2011 or May 2016
Iron Maiden, June 2008 or July 2013
Nine Inch Nails, Nov. 2008

I am jealous you got to see Layne Staley live. I caught Soundgarden in 2011 (awesome) and Alice in Chains with their newer singer (William Duvall) around 4-5 years ago and it was awesome as well.

Same. I can't image how incredible of a show that was. Seen AiC a few times with Duvall and they've always been awesome.

Keeping with the grunge motif, out of the 100 or so concerts I've been to, Pearl Jam has always been the best every time I see them.

Some other good mentions would be Aerosmith, Eric Clapton, and the Black Crowes.

Hard to choose.

Soundgarden/Nine Inch Nails in Camden, NJ back in 2014 was awesome. NIN puts on an amazing live show.

Seeing At the Drive-In live in Philly during their reunion tour back in 2016 was pretty surreal. Their opening act Le Butcherettes are also an amazing live band. I saw them once before when they opened for Antemasque (another Cedric/Omar project) back in 2014 and they definitely stole the show.

And honestly, seeing Badfish at my local venue in Lancaster, PA was pretty awesome. Drinking beer with my bros and jamming out to Sublime tunes was fun. I saw Dinosaur Jr at the same venue and that was an awesome show as well.

Went to a Soundgarden/Alice in Chains concert in 1996. It was pretty awesome.

Saw soundgarden around that time, probably a handful or so months before they broke up. But I still remember how awesome their concert was.

- Up In Smoke tour was amazing.
- Saw Metallica before the Reload album and that concert was incredible because it was more of a show than a concert.
- Red Hot Chili Peppers last year is definitely top 5. Wish it had been 20 years sooner but oh well.
- Any of the 3-4 times Ive seen Lil Wayne.

And then Ive been to a ton of festival type concerts so those would be number one but I dont really count them.

- Wu Tang, 311 and Velvet Revolver.
- Kanye, Lil Wayne, Stone Temple Pilots, Nine Inch Nails.
- Linkin Park, Good Charlotte, Sum 41, Staind, Green Day....back when those were all great bands.
- The Cure, Offspring, Cypress Hill, Papa Roach, Jay Z.
- Billy Idol, Naughty By Nature
- Marilyn Manson, Slayer, Cannibal Corpse
- OzzFest I saw was awesome. Black Sabbath, Rob Zombie, Slipknot, Deftones, Slayer, Primus, System of a Down, Godsmack, Fear Factory, Hed Pe.

Second best was the Metal Masters tour in 2008. It had Black Sabbath (with Dio), Motrhead, and Judas Priest.

Runners up would be Megadeth (2017) and Rob Zombie/Alice Cooper (2010).

Either...

Stone Temple Pilots at the Aladdin in Vegas in summer of 1994... was awesome probably because I worked that concert and thus got paid to watch one of my favorite bands of the time (it was a really good show too).

or ...

Moe at the House of Blues (also) in Vegas in spring of 1998... was awesome probably because of the drugs and incredible vibe (it was a really good show too).
