There's no reason to believe this leak is real. Waluigi has not appeared in a mainline Mario game yet and I highly doubt he will anytime soon. There's no way Nintendo has listened to the fans on Paper Mario as much as I would like that. Red and Blue remake lol. Showing off something like FNAF at E3 of all places. That's something for a mini direct. One of the biggest alerts is Fire Emblem Lustrous Daybreak. Lustrous is a synonym for Radiant and Daybreak is a synonym for Dawn. Literally the same title as Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn unless a remake is supposed to happen which wouldn't make sense considering that Fire Emblem Path of Radiance would have to be remade.

Plus, plenty of "leakers" have gotten the dates of something right only for the rest of the leak to be complete BS. I will eat my own words if I'm wrong but I'm sure this leak is no different.

As someone who doesn't own a Switch, I'm confused. Does the Switch not already have online capabilities? I was always under the impression it did.

It already has online multiplayer, but it's free and barebones for now. They're launching a paid version soon, which is what this topic is about.

Gameplay is shown and is a mix of Smash 4 and Melee, being very colorful yet detailed.

This is oddly specific. How would they know whether the game played like Melee? Could be a mix of real and fake info... but who knows in what proportion...

Welp they announced today that virtual console isn't coming back and the sub game service is being branded as "Nintendo Entertainment System - Nintendo Switch Online" so that part of the leak is kinda true >.> a little too close to not be a little believable.

Nothing about GBA though and it's not launching in August.

I think he was trying to predict that they'd use the same branding as the Mini Consoles which is a pretty good guess. But I don't think that panned out.

Could be something later on. It's possible they might release a trial period in August too and use E3 to promote that. Who knows. It's a pretty damn good fake though if it is a fake.

I think the guy knew they'd announce something about online services on May 7th via some random means (maybe media friends, GameStop higher ups, etc) and thats all. Anything else in that post is weirdly specific, or in the case of the GBA and stuff just flat out wrong.
