I bought Street Fighter V back when it was new and obviously I got ripped off and paid full price for a game that was basically an early access/beta, so I played the piece of shit for like, 10 minutes and threw it away.

Then they added story mode so I decided to play that. Once I finished it, the game went back to the dust bin.

Fast forward many months, and I hear that they added a bunch of new characters (I am interested in Sagat), a true arcade mode and some new backgrounds.

To my surprise, Sagat is nowhere to be found. Here are my questions:

1) When is Sagat going to be added?
2) Is there a way I can buy Sagat with normal money and not "fight money" without having to buy some season pass where I have to buy other dumbasses too?
3) Maybe I am wrong, but I thought I could select Balrog last time I played the game? Now he's behind a paywall too.

This game is a bigger rip off that SSF2 when you already have SF2T

Yeah, Falke just came out and she's third of six in this set. Sagat is the sixth.

Isn't "fight money" gone now? Didn't they experiment and then discard that? Or am I thinking of another game?

It's still in. They removed it from Survival mode and maybe changed up the amounts you could earn from other modes(?). On top of adding incentives to use dat fight money (additional costumes and such) so that you're more likely to start purchasing characters with real $$.

Well Xenogears is exactly like SFV in that it was half made and incomplete yet tons of people think it's one of the best games in the world.

Sagat's not getting released until nearish the end of the year. Oct or Nov probably. We're halfway through the season, with 3 characters out of 6 released so far. And yes, you can just buy Sagat if you want without any of the others. Although if you want the character for free, I suggest trying to earn 100k by then, which shouldn't be TOO hard.

Balrog just got released like a month ago.
