For some reason i set my ShareX audio to the audio-device but still didn't take the audio. Weird. I may find another open source screen recorder if there's no simple thing i'm missing.

Anyways, my design tends to be more traditional. I tend to make maps that can involve speed running or fast ways to do things, multiple paths, sort of easy once you get the pattern with no twitch reflexes needed, and "show by example" of how levels work.

Thoughts?

version 1.3.5 now. small file size, quick install, great interface.

Just needs time to add more robot masters and to hopefully make a level select screen and its perfect.

I am working on Crashman now.

Since you can't do a stage select, all characters and special weapons are available on a "spawn room", which you can choose which weapons you want to bring based on previous stages you played to simulate a stage select progression :)

The trickiest part is to encourage a lot of use of special weapons, and to give more than one "optimal order" of robot masters

I think your level looked pretty good but I only got halfway through cause the new music.

Ha, Time Man's music is okay. Definitely no Megaman 2 or Megaman 5 music. What would you suggest I change it to?

If you haven't noticed, you can just skip all the enemies in the second room without having to fire a shot :)

I think so. but it's not out yet I don't think so I was surprised. thought this topic was about that. didn't know about this version

Megaman Universe?

Looks like we won't see it unless somehow Megaman reaches PewDiePie levels of attention, shareholders get excited about the prospect, or if Nintendo makes a killing with Mario Maker 2 on Switch.

Assuming Capcom won't go through with something at this point unless it has mass profit appeal... well, there's Monster Hunter, so there is hope for Megaman.

Note that the timers on Foot Holders were changed a few updates ago so when you reach the elevator sections just wait for the Foot Holders to show up.

there's some extra thing you need to DL from within sharex for audio in screen recording iirc

though for longer recordings like this I'd just say to use OBS

Varies by creator, but yes I've seen a few kaizo stages. Look up MegaPhilX's stages. He's the creator of MegaMan Unlimited.
