Personally I think the best Gundam anything is the original series movies. I find the pacing and storytelling of 0079 in the movie edits to be fantastic, hits hard with all the filler from the original series cut. That said of the other century series, Gundam Wing is probably the most fun. It's so over the top and ridiculously 90s while also telling a weird mashup version of the original show through Char's Counterattack. I watched it again a couple years ago and I saw a lot of new problems I obviously didn't care about as a kid. 08th MS Team is vastly superior. Gundam Zeta is also superb. I've never been a fan of the Endless Waltz redesigns, except maybe the Tallgeese III. I also really like the Zephyranthes Full Burnern, Gouf Custom, Nu Gundam, Sazabi, and 00 Gundam. My favorite mecha still come from Super Robot Wars: Original Generations.
