You just have to back it up by completely redoing all of physics for a universe which is cylindrical and has one end, with some kind of physical teleporters at the curved surfaces that use no energy and where space itself gets smaller as you move away from Earth, and where our inclination to move toward Earth does not affect any other celestial bodies, most notably the moon, and said celestial bodies have a separate mechanism by which they tend to move together. You'd also have to consider that since space gets smaller as you get further from Earth, and yet every celestial body crosses its entire width in roughly 24 hours, the more distant ones move with incredible speed much greater than anything closer to Earth has been able to--including light. And this is off the top of my head, at a high level. No doubt if you look at calculations, every single one of them will have to change drastically. I'm pretty sure telescopes were one of the first obvious clues that the earth was round. They certainly paved the way.
