However, nobody seems to be able to link to a single event where someone doing such when and murdered someone with the gun they got at a gun show that they couldn't legally get elsewhere. Here's the thing, if we banned guns, this country would have significantly more stabbings than countries where knives are also legal. I'll take mass stabbings over mass shootings any day. A gun can kill a dozen people in a few seconds. A dude with a knife won't have nearly the same "success" rate and its significantly easier to fight back against a dude with a knife than one with a gun... I say that as someone doesn't want to ban guns. I just think the "people will just stab people!" argument is kind of dumb... Is that why more Londoners have been killed in knife attacs than Americans have been killed in mass shootings so far this year? Why are you comparing knife deaths (mostly of single victims) to only mass shootings? Knife deaths in one city compared to mass shootings across a much larger country.
