I never had a WiiU (I don't buy Nintendo until it gets a new Zelda game... And by the time BotW was out, so was the Switch lol)

And while I did get HWL, it frankly sucked. Musou just isn't satisfying on a handheld that only spawns 20 enemies at a time

Pretty deep into the 3ds version so ehhhh maybe when it's like 30$ off. Depends on how far the QoL fixes go.

Already did.
Never bothered with the 3DS one, and barely bothered with DLC on Wii U. Think I got the Tingle one, and just stopped.

May well give away the Wii U one. I don't need it anymore.

Those fucking missions where one follows you around all battle and you're trying to avoid large area attacks so you don't hit it but you're also trying to get 1200 KOs to get your A rank @_@

Those fucking missions where one follows you around all battle and you're trying to avoid large area attacks so you don't hit it but you're also trying to get 1200 KOs to get your A rank @_@

I accept it getting enraged as inevitable and just don't hold back and go wild as fast as I can. I dodge every single second that I'm not attacking and it usually works out fine. But every so often on the later maps, they get one attack in and it's minus 5 hearts or more lmao.

Fire is the most useful, it has the effect of drastically dropping enemy defense. BIG. TIME.

Darkness is also good for popping up near the enemy base in long missions. It gradually drains enemy HP slowly. So by the end of the mission, the enemy leader might be around half health.

Lightning is very situational, but best for challenge maps where you have to defend very low health bases from a small number of enemies trying to topple it (and just one of them toppling means defeat.)

If it works the same as in HWL, it's not necessary. Fire fairies are considered really good because they reduce enemy defence in its area of effect. Pop it in a spot with officers and you'll make life a lot easier for yourself when mopping up.

Nah, the element of the fairy is only for the type of attack unleashed with the "Fairy nuke" attack. It's also the element they are naturally inclined to from the start. But any fairy can have any of the barrier effects depending on the foods they are given. A fire fairy can have double lightning barrier effects, for example.

It's mostly because of how much of a time investment there is in building up a fairy. Unless they made it significantly easier in DE, it can take ages to get good skills you really want on it. If you've gotten a powerful skill on a fairy, whatever damage boost the nuke gets from being a recommended element won't outweigh the skill.

Also if they kept the way Magic Fountain+ or fairy nukes work in the game, you can absolutely break just about every battle with it >_>

Yeah, but fairy nukes makes even characters with poor or slow AoE clears pretty easy for A-ranking missions. On the 3DS, when I got Magic Fountain+, I could literally do entire battles in three minutes and getting like 1700 KOs.

No, I am most definitely not. I got it on Wii U, didn't play it that much. Nothing special really, just a mediocre Warriors game with a Zelda theme that seems like it doesn't suit it well.

How on earth can a 35 MB update take 4 hours

Even on a 56 kbps connection, it should only take a half hour tops (If you have 56 kbps running at a steady 56 kbps, it should only take 15 minutes)

Not much. A double Bombos barrier is nice to have, but I think you can actually build that with any fairy because they get a nuke element at level 25 and 50 depending on the food you fed them to that point. Even a water fairy can have a Bombos effect.

The element of the fairy is just what type of attack they unleash with a fairy nuke. So a lightning fairy nuke is gonna deal a fuckton of damage to a Lizalfos, for example. It's also the barrier element they are inclined to at first. However, it doesn't take much work to make them inclined to a different barrier element. I just make my fire fairy have a bombos barrier for convenience of remembering.

Every fairy type has a short hair and long hair variant. It's nice, cause I know I can immediately discard the short hair fairies.

Note that there's a cap to how many you can keep, but any fairies you discard can be found again in the map you first obtained them. The 3DS version had Spotpass fairies that couldn't be gotten again though, so if they hand any out like that, keep that in mind.

Yes, that's SO much better. Level 3 should be over in MQ, but interestingly, that doesn't look to be the last one anymore.

They added rank 4 weapons, which start appearing in Twilight and Termina I think, and then 4+ for some characters (unless everyone gets one in DE) which are dual-element and originally appeared in the the DLC maps for Legends. They might have changed the balance and spread the weapons out a little more evenly so I don't know where they'll appear in DE.

Hell yeah, boy! They'll trigger the recommended element damage bonus, but I'm not sure if testing showed if it's the same amount as if it were the main element or if it's reduced.

Also because of what elements which characters are weak to, anything with light or dark element in their weapon becomes better.

I pulled up a list, and it looks like that'll mean when I get them all, Zelda will have full coverage, or at least super close to it.

Edit: I poked around, and the answer is incomplete. I really wanna find one though so I know what design I like best. Since there definitely does seem to be more than two versions of each.

This is frustrating, there's multiple outfit showcases but nothing for the fairies themselves.

The ones I listed last with the asterisk have different wings than the rest of the fairies in their element, and from what I can tell, only come in one color. I figure they must be special somehow. Of my three fairies, the special Shadow one is the only one that came with any stats off the bat.

The water fairy I got is the one I like best, so I think I'll raise her since I think I'll still want multiple.

Try as I may, I can't find any evidence of special fire or lightning ones.

Time to figure out how to feed my water fairy.

Feeling powerful and killing lots of stuff with big attacks. Definitely won't appeal to everyone, and even for a fan like me, it sometimes takes a certain mood to even want to play.

For licensed ones like Pirate Warriors or Hyrule Warriors, or crossovers like Warriors All-stars, it's a chance to play as characters you like from other series in a way you might not have been able to in their source game.

I would probably buy it on Switch if there were some sort of save transfer from the Wii U. I bought all the DLC and didn't even touch the Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess adventure maps because I didn't even beat the original one completely.

On second thought I've already spent way more than I should have on that game. Buying it again would just deepen the money/time hole.

To me it's kinda like a fire emblem type game, but the ARPG to its RPG. With keeps and stuff, there's a lot of management of where to go next.
