Of all the outlandish claims in the Mountainside police lawsuit, the most memorable has been the alleged frequent attacks with a large blue dildo, called, naturally, "Big Blue."
Now, video has emerged of one such supposed attack.

The video, taken inside Mountainside Police headquarters and obtained by NJ Advance Media, shows the two officers at the center of the lawsuit.

In it, Lt. Thomas Murphy (white shirt) appears to encourage Det. Sgt. Andrew Huber (blue shirt) as he smacks a man inside police headquarters with Big Blue.

In an additional video obtained by NJ Advance Media, Murphy also filmed himself as Santa, explaining various Christmas "gifts" Santa would be giving certain Mountainside officers.

Murphy ends the video with a final gift for a certain officer, this time a large flesh-colored dildo.
The video and the dildo attacks are among the many, many antics alleged by Mountainside Police officers and borough personnel against fellow officers in a recently filed lawsuit, a 46-page tale that, if true, puts to shame every slapstick cop movie ever made.

In the wake of the suit, officers Huber and Murphy have been placed on paid administrative leave, according to a statement posted to the borough's website. The officers have not responded to requests for comment.

Also on paid leave is the borough's police chief, Allan Attanasio, who is also named in the suit. He has not responded to requests for comment.

In an official statement released last week, Mountainside Mayor Paul Mirabella and Police Commissioner Keith Turner said no conclusions had been reached regarding the veracity of the allegations.
