Some kids need to sink or swim on their own.

I knew I was out at 18 so I managed to move out at 17. Was good for me tbh.

Those parents need to be kicked out! Their son is entitled to live there until they die and then he takes over. He deserves it

He should counter-sue! Take over!

I live under the totalitarian rule of an despicable ogre AKA my father. Just because I am not employed, he thinks he has the right to enforce arbitrary dietary restrictions and treat me like a child. Okay, I am overweight and it is "his" house, that still doesn't give him any right.

Anyway, one of the humiliations he puts me through (and in front of my stick of a stepmother) is to "allow" me one can of Pringles per week as a "treat" (as if I am a dog and not his human son). Of course the first time he did this I ate them in one sitting and he of course shamed me and refused to buy me a new can until the following week. Now I have to walk for 30 min 3 times a week and can only eat certain amount of Pringles per day - yes, he actually draws 6 lines on the can and occasionally checks to see if I surpassed them. If I eat too many he throws the whole can out and doesn't buy them for an additional week because he is an jerk who cheated on my mother and has to make my life hell.

With that background, now you know my predicament. I ate 3/4 of a can Wednesday night due to my diagnosed depression and in a fit of creativity and intelligence, I cut the appropriate length from a paper towel cardboard tube and balanced the remaining Pringles on them. The weight isn't good but they clearly look like they are at the appropriate line.

But I'm worried this won't go unnoticed for the next 5 days and am wondering if CE can give me advice on how to make homemade Pringles? This way I can use them as "filler". Please CE I really need this and the flavor doesn't matter, the prick doesn't scrutinize that much.

I don't think they hate him, but from the articles, he moved back into his parents house after dropping out of college hasn't contributed at all to the household expenses or help around the house for 8 years. They also have to pay for his health insurance and other stuff, they gave him like over $1000 to help find an apartment, but he spent it on "other things"

The dude say it doesn't cost his parents much for him to live there, but the parents are paying for ALL his living expenses as well as all the bills, he sounds very entitled.

He also "works from home"... so basically jobless for 8 years.

I can't really blame the parents at this point...

No.

Either two choices

1) stay with parents and live
2) be on his own and 100% fail, and probably die

Anyone who wants this kid to be kicked out doesnt want him to live.

No its hard.

Either they get welfare help from government, parents pay for everything, or they die on their own. Their lives matter.

Nope. If he lives under a bridge for a few days, he WILL die. Its disguisting for that to happen

Life IS about being happy! His parents need to do his JOB and take care of him!

They wouldnt force their cat or dog to live under a bridge. Neither should their kid!

It's a hard world, sink or swim. I would be more than willing to help my kid and give them every advantage I can in life, but they've got to be willing to help themselves as well

And if I raised a kid that literally could not survive without me past the age of 18 I am a colossal fucking failure as a parent.

nope, not unless they have some sort of serious debilitating condition. The only way my kid is living with me past the age of 18 is if they are going to school full time for a degree worth pursuing, and I'm going to be seeing their grades at the end of every semester.

My job as a parent is to raise an adult, not a perpetual manchild who is absolutely fucking screwed if something were to ever happen to me.

Nevermind the 30 year old, it's so sad that as a property owner, you can't just kick people out. You have to wait at least six months in NY. That's six months of unpaid rent, possible damage to property, and risk of falling behind in your own bills, if you depend on the property's income.

The parents are SO pathetic

Writing a note? Seriously?

They should give him a free allowance of money monthly and then kick him out

That way hell have a source of income and a place to stay

Win win!!! He can stay at home and not have to die. Since he cant work and has no way of getting money for food and hobbies.

Nevermind the 30 year old, it's so sad that as a property owner, you can't just kick people out. You have to wait at least six months in NY. That's six months of unpaid rent, possible damage to property, and risk of falling behind in your own bills, if you depend on the property's income.

Yeah my friend and her sister bought a house last year from some lady who was using it as a rental property and the tenants refused to move out so they had to wait like 4 extra months to get the place

In most decent countries if a landlord sells the property and the tenants still have a contract the new owners have to take them on.
