Great music and it looks really good. The mystery sidequest is neat, but it is pretty short. Obviously the Excess Express takes that concept and makes a whole chapter out of it in the sequel. And it too is a great chapter. TTYD's best chapters are typically much more story driven
in terms of actual level design i think the original blows TTYD out of the water it's why i think the first game is much more replayable, when you already know what to expect in TTYD's best chapters it loses that magic and its worst chapters are full of awful backtracking and frustrating padding --- https://imgur.com/5UL2v5u "Does our ruin benefit the earth? Chapter 7 is pretty great. Overall i like Paper Mario N64 the most, although TTYD has its merits, like the menacing
