DirtBasedSoap 05/20/18 3:08:34 AM #8:	A New Hope and Empire are amazing Return of the Jedi is pretty good Revenge of the Sith was decent aside from some baaad writing. Attack of the Clones and Phantom Menace are pretty terrible movies but decent from a lore standpoint. Disney movies are I guess better overall movies but TFA and TLJ are pretty stupid movies compared to 1-6. Chewster 05/20/18 3:33:00 AM #9:	I think my SW opinion is probably the most common one: Enjoy the OT, dislike the PT, got suckered into the new trilogy because of the old cast, but am starting to get SW fatigue. I'm going to finish off the current trilogy but I don't even care that much. After that I'm not going to make a point of watching any new SW films (including side stories). I'm over it. You can't beat the original trilogy. Even if you make "objectively" better movies, it's just not the same. The originals were kind of a "right moment in time" thing... which I feel and understand as I watch them, even though I was born well after the trilogy was completely finished. <cite>Chewster posted [p:901664120] in Star Wars... The original three are pretty good, but the next trilogy had some awful acting/writing. These current ones don't seem too bad. Love the original trilogy, loathe the prequel trilogy, mostly enjoy the sequel trilogy (thus far), and I thought Rogue One was great. Got sick of the Expanded Universe (i.e. Legends), but it was great in the early going. Also rereading Truce At Bakura, but eager to get back to the Thrawn trilogy. ...
