I'm not saying there aren't scandals, but acting like there are *so* many that you couldn't get them all in a post?

The fact that some guys act like every thing Trump has done is a scandal, and then post the horrible scandals Obama was part of and just shrug their shoulders like they were nothing is a horrible look.

That's why I literally said "post Trumps now"

And instead of doing that, you guys make excuses and jokes, cause you know if you post the stuff you want it will look awful compared to Obamas, and if you post the real stuff, the list will be comparable in size.

-pulling out of the paris accord and making people believe global warming is a lie
-encouraging more business in the coal industry while slapping tariffs on solar energy
-starting unnecessary trade wars that puts essential farming industries at risk and only ending it when he got his personal bribe
-tax cuts that only benefit the rich and rip off the poor and middle class
-moving the US embassy to Israel which does nothing practical but just caused immense bloodshed from the protests
-gave russia classified intel
-pulling out of TPP and wanting to get back in when it's too late
-making false claims and starting this stupid mindset that everything that he disagrees with is 'fake news'

and no, his dumb remarks are not for nothing. For all it's done, it's been a darn good encouragement for more racism, xenophobia, ignorance and increasing the stupidity of the general populace whilemaking USA out to be a total embarrassment to the rest of the world. Even countries that once supported the USA are now turning to China (esp. with the TPP move, the US just brought China a step closer toward an Asia influence)

ITT: People pretend Obama didn't have scandals by mentioning fluff pieces.

just kind of s***ty? Foreign policy matters alot more than just internal affairs in today's world, especially and ultimately, on the country's economy. The trade tariffs is probably the stupidest thing so far. Anyone in the right mind wouldn't even think twice of not voting for Trump when he touted his trade policy during elections.

Remember that time his attorney general left a job as a corporate lawyer, never prosecuted anyone for the massive fraud that led to our financial collapse, then returned to his job as a corporate lawyer?

i don't want to get into an argument with you since we both agree on the same point but what ultimately affects the country are the policies made and less on the matters that just affect the president's reputation. Anyway if you wanna talk about bad matters within the country, there's better examples like him wasting taxpayer's money on his lifestyle and building an unnecessary wall or saying how he wants to 'drain the swamp' only to fill his cabinet with the swamp.

or saying how he wants to jail hillary yet now he doesn't want to yet supporters suddenly don't care. I digress, his supporters are worse.

i think healthy, respectful debate is frequently worth everyone's time

there are two kinds of negative behavior from politicians:

1) highly partisan policymaking. this is generally appreciated by supporters and hated by opponents. you named a lot of this, and it sucks, but you'll generally find that support/opposition falls along party lines.

2) potentially illegal actions. drone strikes against civilians, enoulments clause violations, sharing of classified intel with foreign officials, etc--things that draw criticism from both opposition and honest members of the supporting base (generally dishonest members of the base will not praise such actions, either, but minimize them). these are what we call scandals and are what the topic was meant to be about

oops, forgot what this topic was about. Must have got it confused with my other topic.

Putting Chad on the travel ban, after this they stop giving us support in Niger. This might have (not necessarily) led to the death or our service men . Then he lied about what he said to one of the war widows, then Kelly his right hand man lied about what a African-American rep did in the past. There is video evidence to prove that he is lying and racist trump fans still believe Kelly.

But a lot of them come off more like policy that they personally didn't like.
