I haven't seen the video yet, but people are saying she doesn't know the words?

So she definitely knows the n-word parts, but doesn't know the words to the rest of the song? Lol yeah, I can see where there might be a problem.

I think what he did was dirty. I dont think she should be invited to rap a song with that word and not be expected to say it.

And there's nothing more annoying than when you see folks rap a song and then bleep themselves, so cringeworthy. Context matters, and I dont get bothered if folks say the n-word in a song.

Do I think white people shouldn't use the N word? Yes

Do I think that realistically it's not gonna stop happening until black people stop using it too? Also yes

Black rappers using the N word in their songs is encouraging and prolonging racism.

Tweeter Joe Vargas posted: "Kendrick Lamar stops his concert because the girl that he brought on stage to sing HIS song says all the lyrics & because shes white shes not supposed to say the N word thats in the song?

Kendrick can take the L for that. Dont use the word if you dont want ur fans saying it.

Emily Baptista wrote: This is so stupid though bc people make music for others to enjoy, listen to and even sing.

So how is it wrong to say whats in the lyrics when theyre just rapping/singing it how the artist would.

If they dont want white ppl to say it, dont put it in a song.

But some sided with the star with one saying: My question for white people. How can you call yourself a Kendrick Lamar fan AND think you can say the N-word at the same time (thats a question by itself)? Like are you really a fan? Do you not hear what hes talking about in majority of all his songs???

The more I think about this the more I think Lamar was an asshole.

I am very much against anyone using that offensive word. But if HE wrote the song, HE signs it, HE added that word there, why did he invite that girl to sing the song with him?

If she wants to come on the stage, his stage, he is free to say no, or to invite her up once he is singing a song that doesn't have the N-word in it. He invites her to sing a song that goes like n-word, n-word, n-word, and then acts shocked and offended hen she sings the actual lyrics?

Then maybe he shouldn't be writing lyrics that cause him to be shocked and offended when a white person sings them.

In which song does Kendrick say he doesn't want white people to say the words of his songs? This reminds me of some article I saw about how white people should stop playing his songs because they "Just don't get it, man"
