mrduckbear 05/23/18 12:11:06 AM #1:	Do you think it's awkward that the Dad took his son's girlfriend to Prom? - Results (12 votes) Yes... 33.33% (4 votes) 4 No 66.67% (8 votes) 8 Robert Brown, whose son Carter was killed in a car crash last month in Pennsylvania is now taking his son's GIRLFRIEND to her High School PROM so she wouldn't miss out on the event!! It was supposed to be Carter putting on the corsage to his girlfriend, 17 y/o Kaylee and taking funny pictures but sadly, he passed last month after he crossed into the opposite lane and was hit head on where the 19 y/o was pronounced dead at the scene.. Kaylee Suders was devastated on the news as she and Carter were to attend her senior prom at Buchanan High School on Saturday...so Robert, Carter's Dad decided to be her DATE because he knew his son would've wanted him to take her to her final dance.. Carter was heading home from Indiana State University on April 15 to surprise Kaylee, his girlfriend of more than a year to take her to prom.... Kaylee said she didn't want to go to prom after his death but changed her mind after Robert convinced her to go with him and had permission from the school to accompany her. Carrter's Mom, Kelly said that she was okay with her husband taking Kaylee to prom and said "My son was a sweet, caring kid and Kaylee is very sweet too, and she is a part of our family. When the passing topic of prom came up, i kept thinking my son would want her to go. That prompted me to get the ball rolling. I didn't have to think about it, i definitely said yes" They celebrated the event with a dinner beforehand at the same TGI Friday's wehre Suders and Carter went on their first date and Robert even gave Kaylee a KISS to make the evening "magical"... Proms usually have chaperones, anyway, so it's not like everyone's suddenly going to be like "aww, man, adult, total buzzkill!" --- Who's your favorite character from "Bend It Like Beckham"?
