Yeah American comics would do well to adopt the manga model. American comics are just too all over the place with stories and continuity. Glad people are starting to see the light.

Yeah American comics would do well to adopt the manga model. American comics are just too all over the place with stories and continuity. Glad people are starting to see the light.

They can't as the comics people are interested in reading do not belong to the authors but the company and marvel and DC will never ever let just one person write Batman/Spiderman/Superman stories. They rotate authors all the time to keep using the character because it's cheaper that way

They want five bucks for an issue that's practically a pamphlet. No thanks. I'll catch the comics on the big screen.

These are the main reasons comics from the big two suck. It even affects smaller publishers to a degree.

I went to a comic store last week because its literally a block away and I just moved there.

Every trade or collection was 40 bucks plus. Single issues were 5 dollars and they only had the most recent issue so if it wasn't number 1, tough shit
