Basic education should be free. Specialized stuff (pretty much anything beyond high school level) should not, though I am in favor of interest-free student loans, provided you're studying something that'll actually lead to a job and not just "I'm taking this propaganda course that'll confirm my political bias but give me zero real-world skills".

Healthcare, I'm okay with either way. But for fuck's sake, pick one end or the other and stick to it. Either go full public healthcare, or a voluntary insurance / free-market based scheme where you don't force anyone. In-the-middle solutions like Obamacare are always going to be a disaster.

Nothing is free. Our best bet is to introduce more competition into those sectors and incentivize automation so that the costs can drop as much as possible until machines do most of the work and the costs become negligible.
