I made a counter offer on ebay to buy it now for $10 with $4 shipping and the seller accepted the offer, but now I'm kind of regretting the purchase. Did I get a decent deal on this? The game is still sealed btw.

I think I got mine for around the same price like 1.5 years ago but it is for sure worth it if you already have PS+ purchased so you can play online. If not, you fucked up big time.

I'm so bad at playing fighting games online that it wouldn't even be enjoyable. I only wanted it so I'd have something quick to play every once in a while. My last video game purchase was Resident Evil 7 on its release day, so I've mostly been falling back on my older games whenever I'm bored. I wanted something else to switch it up.

At this point? Not at all, that was a fairly bad deal.

Arcade Edition's MSRP is down to $29.99 now I think and includes all the Season 1 and Season 2 DLC characters (12 in all, bringing the roster up to 28 characters). Vanilla Street Fighter V only has the 16 starting characters. And I know Arcade Edition's been on sale a number of times, I think even hitting as low as $20-25. So yeah, I'd say vanilla SFV at $14 total is not a good deal.

Well, not if you own another addition, but as far as playing it by yourself I feel what's here is baffling compared to prior years. Granted story has never been a strong point, but this iteration is terrible. Also, if you want to play online that's kind of where it's at, but at this point there are a lot of people out there who are really, really, really good. Maybe you could occasionally play it with friends in your living room, but also keep in mind once you install the game, and download all of the updates it's like 50 GB of space.

*spoiler: One of the stories that really bothered me was Sakura's where she questions why she is fighting when her life is going nowhere, and maybe she should settle down, find a career, and have kids. That was depressing, and it made me question why I was playing the game. It was too meta of a commentary on the series and video games as a whole.
