Admittedly, I've barely played any TES games, but the typical fantasy setting always puts me off. I much prefer Fallout.

They actually both went from radically different styles to similar throughout their existence, but the core idea of the games has always been very similar.
It really just boils down to if you prefer post-apocalyptic or fantasy settings. For me, I honestly enjoy them both enough that I couldn't pick one over the other. ... Copied to Clipboard!

They are like... two different things for the most part. You can maybe compare Skyrim and Fallout 4 since they're just first person ARPGs, but the previous installments were completely different.

Elder Scrolls has Oblivion, which is probably the best game of all time, so Elder Scrolls.
Though all the games get pretty boring pretty quickly. Fallout 4 was the only one I was actually disappointed in. --- Oden ska fa sin hamnd. Jag ska doda er alla, sen ska jag dricka mjod med honom. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I think I might honestly say Fallout. 1, 2, and New Vegas were great, great titles. Morrowind is the only truly great Elder Scrolls game.
