Racist gets fired. Sucks because I love the show, but totally fair. ABC made the smart move.

Hulu removes new episodes from their platform. Weird, but OK I guess. Seems a bit much.

Now people are expecting Amazon to remove the series from their library. That's just where I draw the line with how quick people are to overreact. (In this instance, I am arguing that overreaction is to purge the show from history because of something said 20 years later.)

That does seem stupid. Roseanne is not the only person who was part of that show. It basically made the careers of half the stars. Luckily I picked up the full series a while back so I'm set either way.

She gets money from those mediums. If you want a proper punishment you need to hit them where it hurts, in the wallet.

What about all the collateral? I'm sure Sara Gilbert, John Goodman, Sarah Chalke, Lucy Gorenson, Micheal Fishman, and Laurie Metcalf aren't too happy about it, and they didn't say anything so ridiculously racist.

Amazon does still have Dukes of Hazzard with the racist car so maybe they will keep this one...

It is pretty ridiculous to remove the old show. Some of my family refused to even watch the new one but they love the old show

Okay, I agree with this. I'm not fond of the idea of removing the whole show, no matter what kind of person she is, the show is nostalgia and I did used to watch it a lot. I learned to love John Goodman on that show.

I would buy Chik-Fil-A if I was American, even though I strongly disagree with their anti-gay and pro-religious beliefs, because I hear they make delicious sandwiches

I still listen to Brand New, despite Jesse Lacey being essentially a sex-fueled creep and possible sex offender

I still listen to Mest despite the singer stabbing his girlfriend or something like that

I still buy the pasta brand of the anti-gay Italian CEO or whatever, because it's the most delicious one

I still watch TV/movies with Kevin Spacey in them, because I enjoy his acting

I can disagree and loathe people, but as a consumer, I couldn't give a shit about people and their beliefs
