In high school I would just refer to teachers by their last name. No title. Same here. I picked up the habit Freshman year in sports (practice started before the school year did) we would use everyone's last names only. My professors from college and some ol Boy Scouts leaders of mine asked me to call them by first name after I graduated and being an adult now instead of a kid. I just can't bring myself to do it part out of respect for them still and partly because I'm too accustomed calling them by Professor or Mr/Mrs.
