Temp employee in the factory supposedly said/did something to another female temp. She told the manager that he sexually harassed her. No evidence that I know of (I'm the security supervisor, and haven't seen anything on the cameras - maybe it happened off camera?), but just her word against his. I'm not sure what to think. Did he actually do it? I don't know.

Note that sexual harassment doesn't have to be explicitly physical. He could have been saying seedy things and persisting despite refusals.

Once an employee makes a sexual harassment claim that's pretty much it, which is obviously unfortunate when it's fraudulent but you have to question how likely that really is.

Now a temp worker they're just going to let go at the first sign of trouble. I imagine this would have gone very differently had it been the CEO.

Are you questioning a womans accusation of sexual harassment? What she needs is support not speculation of her integrity. #Patriarchy

I don't know all the details. The guy seemed... I don't wanna sound mean, but kinda slow-ish? So maybe he did it unintentionally? Or, maybe she just didn't like him.

He was adamant that he "didn't do nothin'" when he was leaving the building.

If it had been a full time employee they probably would have done more than simply take her word for it. For a temp, it's easier just to get a new one

There's so many possibilities, probably unwise to speculate. I'd hope people who are quick to question her motives are giving equal amounts of suspicion to the alleged suspect in the story, but that doesn't tend to be the case.

It's only natural to be curious about it. This may sound bad, but I hope it's actually true. In my mind, lying about harassment just to get someone canned that you don't like, is worse than harassment its self.

I mean, I'm not going to go out and launch an investigation. The situation just had me thinking about what actually happened.

Just a temp employee, if it was a full time employee that has been there for a while things would have been different. I'm sure the female temp won't be kept either. No one likes HR problems.

He's a temp. His leash is much shorter than an actual employee's would be.

Applying mathematics to the issue, he admitted his guilt. You say he said that he "didn't do nothing" - in mathematics, a double-negative makes a positive, so mathematically, he admitted it.
