i dont know too much about cheap tvs. i suppose they are all the same so long as they support hdr and are 4k? the only differentiating factors being available port, mounting options, and physical screen size

I've heard the 2018 model TCL TVs are pretty solid for the price, but there is some quality issues where some of their TVs have some terrible vertical banding. If you don't have that you're probably in the clear.

I got a Sony X900F because I have no self control when I really really want something, but have to wait until Wed to use it. @_@

The TCL was on my radar though as an option since it's literally half the cost of the TV I got for not that much lower in quality.... But I again have no self control.

Should have gotten a low end Samsung Quantum tech tv. I got the Q7F model, and damn, I dont regret it... but I also bought it for $600 because I had amazon points and gift cards saved on my account to drop the price.

All the research I've done has pointed to TCL being the best budget TV.

It's what I'm going to get when I get a 4K TV cause there is no fucking way I'm paying more than 500 dollars for a fucking TV.

Yep, that's why I went with it. Nearly every list of reviews said it was the best under $1k.

I think I might wait and see if GameStop offers some kind of deal around E3, right now there's nothing so I'd be paying $400 after launch model trade in for just the console and that's a bit too much for me
