However if the MLB, as a private organization, decided to ban child molesters from playing in their league, I would support that on a social level. He should probably still be in prison, considering he's still young enough to be a pro athlete. He definitely doesn't deserve a chance to make millions playing a game, imo. They'd rather be playing .300 baseball than win games with a convicted child molestor. From what I've read about Heimlich's story, it is possible that it was a false accusation made against him in the middle of a bitter divorce between his father and the alleged victim's mother, and he plead guilty because his lawyer got him a plea bargain to make things much easier for him.
