Unless you can name some of the slave labour camps set up for American blacks after 1945, or pinpoint the ghettoes with starvation rations which blacks were forbidden to leave on pain of death in the 1950s, your "post-war American Holocaust was exactly the same as the Nazi Holocaust only with a smaller body count" argument isn't going to stand up either.

Here's your problem: you can't just type up any old dogshit you feel like and demand that people gulp it down without question. If you've got a valid point, don't bury it under dogshit. You could have drawn genuine parallels between the Tuskegee Experiment and some of the Nazi medical experiments on human beings, for example, but no; you couldn't resist the temptation to take it too far and claim that everything the Nazi authorities did -- short of mass extermination -- was mirrored perfectly by US government policy after 1945.

I've never been sure about calling them the "greatest generation" though. Mainly because I feel like any generation put in a similar situation will end up doing great things as well.
