I get a really strong feeling you don't actually know any of their songs. That or you just don't listen to the lyrics because very few of the songs are "angsty".

Imagine hearing help is on the way or make it stop and thinking, "this is about nothing at all in particular. Not about Hurricane Katrina and not about the 11 suicides in September 2010".

Only one angry and angsty about nothing is the TC.

On topic: 10/10. Revolutions per minute, the sufferer and the witness, siren songs, and appeal to reason are all 10/10 albums.

I liked Endgame when I was in High school.

I think its hard to stay a fan of them, because all their albums are pretty much the same. Think they do

Ya after that one album it all sounded the same to me. My brothers favorite band is rise against though so I still hear them occasionally

10/10 bait topic and response. I can't stand them either.

They're okay. Not really my kind of music, but they have a few songs I like a lot.

In Highschool we had this talent show thing once a year, and a friend of mine did a beautiful cover of Swing Life Away. Can't vote no when they led to that.

The only problem with statements like this though is that's what music is. You're either boasting or you're complaining. Maybe a small margin of just admiring beauty in the world and such but pretty much everything else falls into the two afromentioned categories. Doubly so for any music centered on social commentary.
