Decided to close the previous one and open an actual nomination topic, now that I set up ground rules. And since no one is even going back to that topic even when I ping them...

I should have the first ranking up (Undertale) tomorrow, finished the stuff today since I had the time.

For a quick statement of rules... For now it's still Video Game OSTs, and I'd prefer things that I've dealt with a decent amount, so things that I've Beaten, Completed, or you see I've done a bit of progress on my backloggery.

You can also ask me about something and see if I watched a LP or something, you can even convince me to play one of the games I have while haven't beaten. For something no one's ever pay attention to. Same deal with watching a stream or Let's Play, you can convince me to do that if there's an OST you really like.

For nominations themselves... everyone gets as many nominations as I've had polls (+1), one poll has already existed, so everyone has two noms. Here's nominations so far.

I never really thought about it, saw some of the guys like Bane played it but never bothered to try it as didn't really care to go buy it and no one really recommends it anyway. Is it fair to watch or is it better experienced?

I feel like the problem with double nomming is it's like... what do I do, put it on a poll twice? I already planned to make this a poll basis so extra noms don't really do anything, except double its chances to be on a poll. Your choice I guess.

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core (you have it as unfinished so you probably won't take it, but I have spent more time listening to this soundtrack than playing the actual game so you might be in the same boat)

I'll do full for the former, and I'll accept the latter because Fighting Games are less about the experience and more about the characters when it comes to songs.

It's pretty short for a platformer and has a lot of charm, but you wouldn't miss out on much by just watching a playthrough if you're not that interested.

It's still just buying it is the problem. The reason I stress getting me to watch the stuff is unless I already own it, there's minimal chance I'm going to have a chance of playing it soon.

I want to say no on this one. I did not play a decent enough chunk of the game to say that I can just listen to the OST. Unlikely going to watch like a stream or something of it considering I own the first chapter, maybe I'll change my mind at some point since I'm fairly annoyed at a specific mechanic of the game anyway.

As for Octodad, should I watch it or is the experience minimal to the soundtrack?

If there's anything off the list that you're interested in, you can possibly get me to watch the game or in some small circumstances just rank the songs of the OST when I'm starting to lose interest groups due to the games I have played.

OMG THIS GAME IS SO CUTE.

Just to say. It's A Hat in Time for anyone that just reads this post that doesn't have the game in it. I'll still watch a decent chunk if not all of an LP, depending on some circumstances it could become a priority of me getting it if it's on sale just by watching the intro... (And also watching one of the mafia dudes playing patty cake PUNCH with the protag)

Tadpole Treble is a cute little game with some great music it's not that long either so it'd be an easy to watch LP.

I'm coming up with a different concept for some of this. Should I keep up polls? Or should I have nominations go into what will become my next OST (after next topic, for now whatever wins the poll in my Undertale ranking topic will become my next OST).

Second, I think I'll open this from being just beaten/played a decent bit, but turn it into a *wish* to play as well. If a game is unfinished and is on a Nintendo system or my Steam/Origin... suggest to me that I should beat it. If I've never played it... the nominations are now open for those soundtracks... And also...

Yes, everything on my Steam Wishlist is open for nominations as well. Don't buy me the game unless you really feel like tossing away your money like that. Granted I'll probably play it instantly if my computer allows it.

The reason I'm doing this second option, is because of Shonen's nom in A Hat in Time. Watching even just the first level got me really interested in the game and I'll probably get it during a later sale. It however made me feel like either I watch someone who doesn't know enough about the game and doesn't have exactly what I want out of a sense of exploration, or they know too much and are just beating everything and collecting everything easily. So... I feel like I'll do redo scenarios where I'll do an OST after I beat a game if I did the OST before I played it, sort of thing.

If you're looking at an OST from another system, maybe just shoot it out anyway. There's a chance I've watched an LP or may very well watch one for this. Like how I'll go find something for Tangy's nom soon.
