PS4 doesn't have any must-have exclusives in my mind, but having a console is still nice. It's like a small computer for idiots (like me).

Only you can answer that. If you care about the exclusives and/or don't have a gaming PC then sure. If you don't care about them and/or have a gaming PC then no. I never understood these type of topics.

I haven't owned a system since the 360, and that system Red Ringed so I've been playing on PC since then.

Im interested in Horizon, God of War, Detroit and all the old games I missed. I don't mind paying for them because I never owned them in the first place.

And while I do own a good gaming pc I really want something for my couch.

The Slim is simply the PS4 in a smaller package (unlike the Xbox One S which can also output 4K on videos, but not games). The PS4 Pro is a 4K machine, and can run games at a higher framerate.

If you have that money, then go for it.

My brother let me have his ps4 for 60 bucks because he up graded to the pro. It was worth it, and I can day that I would gladly pay $300 (or $230 or whatever the sale price is) for it.

If you already have a good gaming pc, you really just want exclusives, or maybe fighting games since the scene is bigger on ps4.

Here are the games that I have and purchased:

Odin sphere leifthasar (spelling is wrong on that last word)- it's a 2d side scrolling action rpg. It was originally released on the ps2, but I never played it back then. Super fun game

Bloodborne- you probably know what this is.

Kingdom Hearts remix 1.5 +2.5 remix - contains kingdom Hearts 1, 2 , bbs and chain of memories. Great collection if you want to get into kingdom hearts

Dragon ball fighter z- not a super hardcore fighter, but it's really fun

Monster hunter world- fun game but I think it's eventually coming to pc.

All the other games that I have I got "free"
from ps+. Ps+ is 50 dollars a year, and each month you get free games. I've gotten some good ones like mgsv, infamous 3 (whatever it's really called), last of us (I think, haven't played it) and many more. Just look at a list online to see what has been released on ps+. In my opinion, ps+ is worth it just for the games alone.

No. Save yourself a shit-ton of cash and buy a PS2. The games are better.
