Because the anthropomorphic animals (hereafter, "anthros") would be like a new race of people, my preference for dating only anthros would be comparable to a white guy who only wants to date Asians. People might look down on me and think that I'm objectifying the anthros. I want to connect with someone on an emotional level, but I also feel like I would be missing out if I weren't dating what would be, by a huge margin, the most sexy race.

How can I have the confidence to date an anthro without fear of judgement?

The way I understand it, bestiality implies sex with a lesser being. That's why I never hear it described as bestiality when human has sex with one of those Star Trek aliens that closely resemble humans. A better term for that sort of relationship would be "interspecies relationship".

It's not what the vagina looks like that counts. It's who it belongs to. If it belongs to a willing human adult, it's fair game. If it belongs to someone who is not human, not an adult, or not consenting, you should pass on it.
