This is not a master race type of post. This is just about these games alone. However the mods that you can the systems don't compare with the size and just number of mods on the computer. I played my first Elder Scrolls on Xbox and while it was good. The experience I had when I got it for cheap on steam.. just blow my mind.

I've played all my Fallouts and TES on Xbox, so...

i first played fallout 3 on the ps3. it was fine, especially with vats

but yeah id rather play them on pc

Well, traditionally Bethesda games were terrible on the Playstation. The Playstation versions were noticeably worse than the Xbox versions.

Well, traditionally Bethesda games were terrible on the Playstation. The Playstation versions were noticeably worse than the Xbox versions.

Especially Fallout New Vegas. I played it on PS3 and it was very hard to do everything in one playthrough because once the file size got big enough it became a slideshow.

I think Skyrim on PS3 had a similar issue before it was patched.

Even having never played an ES / Fallout game on PC, I'm sure I'd agree. And that's even taking mods out of the equation:

'There's a bug on Xbox 360 / PS3 / PC wherein [insert NPC] can disappear from the game world, rendering this quest unfinishable. On PC, open the console and type [insert code gibberish]. On Xbox 360 / PS3 versions, eject the disc from your console and go fuck yourself with it.'

If I was even slightly computer-savvy I'd have broke down and bought a gaming rig long ago, but I'm legitimately cursed when it comes to tech - I can't even seem to download a game off of Marketplace without some weird problem popping up.

Basically you purchase a machine on sale from an electronics store, being mindful to get one with a relatively strong power supply, then separately purchase a video card to plug into the machine. These days you can find walkthrough videos on Youtube, though the process is essentially just plugging in the card. That's it, done, presto! You now have a lazy 'gaming rig'.

Nah, mods on Xbox One have made that version acceptable IMO.

PC is still the best due to console commands though.

I might just cop out and do that eventually. Pity that funds are tight right now and any kind of gaming PC would be the very definition of an unnecessary luxury for me. Kind of a blessing in disguise though, because the moment I finally got access to PC Bethesda games and all the unrestricted modding that entails is the moment I disappear from the world forever.
