Fun multiplayer? Left 4 Dead, Overwatch, Warcraft, Smash Bros, Diablo

Singleplayer? Zelda (some of them anyway), Bastion, Mass Effect, Super Metroid, and I do have a soft spot for Mario and Pokemon. As far as something new.. Farcry 5 was a mess, but I enjoyed it a little bit. At least enough to crush that one preachy douche.

Honestly I don't even new play games other than Overwatch or Pokemon much anymore, they're all kinda feeling samey to me. Enjoy this if you want, it just feels like an indie game with a budget that was way too big to me.

Listing decade old games doesn't count here lol. The single player games you mentioned are mediocre or vary greatly depending on the specific title we're talking about. Far Cry 5 was absolute garbage. I think you have pretty bad tastes in games if you found TLoU 1 boring compared to those.

I love when devs try to script 'gameplay' to look unscripted.

While I'm sure some of it was scripted, ND does a pretty good job of making these sorts of demos fairly representative of the final product. There are some parts that definitely look scripted (e.g. killing the hammer dude at the end and it cutting to a cinematic), but for the most part I think it'll be like that in the final game.

So apparently there are some updates: you only play as Ellie in this game (might be a lie as ND did with part 1), and the game takes place during 2 different times. I really wonder what the "times" will be. Maybe the second trailer with the two asians is showing Ellie after all?

Stop buying into the hype people western gaming is dead outside of indie titles!
