Surely there's an ARMS character at least. C'mon Twintelle.

When it comes to actual Nintendo characters they've pretty much covered everyone else I can think of. I'm hoping for at least one more third party newcomer that shocks people. That's always fun and there's nothing new like that so far.

Nope. Echo means clone like Lucina. If She were a skin that would mean skins would be on that page and that would mean all the koopalings should be there but they're not.

No. By clone, I think they really mean it.

For example, Lucina is identical in all ways to Marth except for the tipper mechanic, but Roy was decloned in Smash 4.

Likewise, Falco and Wolf's moves are actually different and have different executions and hitboxes than Fox's do.

Dark Pit is just a slightly slower and harder hitting version of Pit--but it doesn't qualify Ganondorf as an Echo because Ganondorf has completely different normals and tilts.

That's so weird, they're considered their own characters, but they don't get their own numbers.

Probably so people don't whine they're inflating the roster number with characters who are the exact same.

Just because one game of a different genre had more options, doesn't suddenly mean every game shouldn't have more option. In Smash's case, having more roster just opens more possibilities for a split tier list and a more interesting meta game

And of course more variety in casual play cuz you have no freaking clue who some people will use

Options ruined TF2, so it turns out that limitations are often times an important part of controlling the tone, aesthetic, and overall feel of an experience.

I'd rather have over 60 characters to play crazy ass games with my friends instead of having Melee "balance" where half the cast still manages to be garbage in pro level play anyway.

Also, TF2 was originally a closed off game from other universes so throwing other games in ruins the tone. Smash Bros is a mix up of tons of games and the clashing tones more acceptable for it.

Nice to know you don't know what you're talking about. Melee has like 8 viable characters, outside of those characters pretty much everyone else is trash. And of those viable characters Fox is mained by something like 90% of the competitive community
