Mexico and the US typically qualify so really it's only a free spot for Canada and with an expanded field I don't think CONCACAF will have issue with it...

Stadiums picked to host games, USA have to still filter their list down to 10 from the 17 listed. Mexico and Canada stadiums are confirmed. According to FIFA rules, stadiums for opening games and finals must be at least 80,000 seaters, group games at least 40,000.

Opening game will be in either Estadio Azteca or Rose Bowl and the final will be held at MetLife Stadium. Semi Finals will be held in AT&T Stadium and Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Kraft was the chairman, so LA, NY, Boston. I've heard Florida is getting one and only one, so either Miami or Orlando. I would guess the other six are DC, Houston, Atlanta, Denver, Seattle, and Nashville or Cincy.

There's BC Place, but it uses artificial turf. Though the main reason is that Vancouver withdrew citing demands made by FIFA, essentially they wanted a blank cheque and could demand anything extra to be added.

Iran voted for none of the above, while Cuba, Slovenia and Spain abstained from voting. Canada, Guam, Mexico, Morocco, Puerto Rico, United States and US Virgin Islands were not allowed to vote (though for some reason American Samoa was...)

Guam, PR and the Virgin Isles were allowed to vote as well, but Morocco filed a complaint and they chose not to. Samoa decided they didn't care.
