Reading up on how bad Smash Bros tournaments stink, and it made me wonder how the average gamer smells.

The same goes for MtG events where I live. I stopped playing because of it. The smell was so bad that it got carried home on my clothes. I can get sweating a bit in a room packed full of people, but there's zero excuse as to why the room smells like ass and sweaty fat 2 minutes into round 1.

I swear a lot, but like a normal person I take a shower every single day and use a shit ton of deodorant. I honestly dont see how this could be so difficult

No but I worked with a guy once who always came to work smelling like feet and armpits.

Yea, one time I was lazy and didn't shower for a few days. I don't do that anymore.

Another time I was working outside in the heat and all my uncle had to drink was beer. I probably downed a 12 pack and just sweated it all out, didn't even feel any of it. My cousin commented that I smelled like a brewery afterwords.

When I was a little kid I stunk to high Heaven. Is come home after a day of play covered in mud, scratches and who knows what. But then around junior high I became more girly.

I do remember one sweaty boy in high school that smelled like a package sandwich meat.

Recently because the underwear I was wearing wasn't completely dry and was like that for two days so had a wet and mildewry smell to it.

In individual instances, sure, but that's to be expected sometimes when you don't get a chance to shower for a few days, or you're doing a really sweaty activity. I haven't been told generally that I smell bad or have a hygiene problem

Not on a day to day basis but the way I smell after hockey, my gf constantly tells me is atrocious

Yeah after physical activities outdoors on hot humid days sure.

It's literally impossible to not smell bad in those situations though.

Mostly when I was a depressed teenager and showered like once every two weeks. And lived with smokers in a hoarding situation.

Seriously dude. The shop nearest me has the tournament's played in the basement. The same 4 guys practically live there and stink so fuckin bad.

Oh oh.
Also I used to work this weird shift where it was Friday nights then Saturday mornings.
Besides it being awful, nobody had time to shower and we all stunk on Saturdays.
Mostly women too. Was quite the thing.
Luckily I got Friday off most of the time and would be the lest smelly of the bunch becasue of a shower the night before.

No, but I shower at least once per day.

My BO is so bad, if I forget deodorant once I will smell like a skunk and someone will let me know.

It's been years since I did that, but it'll ruin my shirts with the smell. It makes me wonder, how the hell did my genes get by before deodorant was invented? Humans have to be natural skunks.
