My argument is that a game's potential quality can't be judged until eyes are on it, and right now it's locked in a room. It doesn't matter how good people say it looks secondhand. The room is a box, and Cyberpunk is Schrodinger's Cat. It exists in a permanent state of either amazing or total bullshit until viewed by my eyes.

Yet seeing literally just walking surpasses this, in Death Stranding's case.

Yeah, I've seen DS and I like what they showed! What they showed of the game interests me greatly. I very easily say it surpasses that.

But I mean it doesn't really matter because DMC tops that anyways. Hell, I would say Vesperia because I sure as hell know what THAT game is.

I'm still confused by the negative reactions to the Death Stranding gameplay. Like I've seen enough Kojima trailers in my lifetime that I see exactly what he's doing and allowing us to see now and what he's still holding back for later and I trust the man enough to believe his game will be incredible.

Cyberpunk certainly sounds amazing from the closed door impressions but right now it's as much as a question mark that they can pull off this witcher/deus ex first person hybrid

To be fair, I don't think it's as much negative to Death Stranding specifically as just a reaction to somebody going "We've seen so much more of Death Stranding so you can say that looks great but you can't say Cyberpunk looks great."

We've seen almost equal amounts of gameplay, so that's not really a fair thing to say.

yeah i wasn't making any judgement on the potential quality of either game. but essentially the only thing we've seen is the one thing that's in the vast majority of all games.

i will say though that i think kojima is pretty overrated, and is pretty bad at making a coherent narrative and given that this game seems focused on the story, i have some doubts!

Would have voted for TLOU 2 if I had a PS4 or any intention of getting one, this was the best game shown at E3 for sure
KH3 looked great, the series itself always looked appealing to me and I would like to play it at some point
I personally don't feel like too much time passed since the last Smash so it's kind of hard for me to get excited for it
As a concept I would have voted for DMC5, but it looked kinda bad...I want to believe it turns out to be good, though
Death Stranding looked like a Walking Simulator, probably the most disappointing game for me in E3, but we will see
Complete indifference about the rest of the games

So I guess my vote goes for Smash huh
