You don't know what a scientific theory is or why science being unable to prove things is a feature and not a problem, but that is a normal result from American education, so it's not really your fault. Scientific theories represent a best guess explanation using the currently available data. Theories can and do change or get discarded as we gather more data. This is a good thing. We can never 100% know something in science because there are always alternative explanations. So instead we try to come up with the best possible explanation we can based on the current evidence.
