Yeah the dealer at Jeep is more than happy to take the Honda and sell it on thier lot. It's nearly mint and only has 25k mi.

For the Honda it was 10k mi a year for a 3 year lease. It came with a service plan so I never had to pay for an oil change. I had to put some money down up front on the lease because the trade in I had was a shit can.
For the jeep it's the same mileage limit and I'm only getting 2 free synthetic oil changes. But I am getting a wear and tear waver that covers interior/exterior and tires. It will be good to have since my kids will probably make a mess of it. I've only put a few hundred down up front, mostly for the registration fees.

So they're not even asking you to put anything down on the new lease? I assume you must've been above ground on your Honda for that to work.

I'm considering dumping the lease on my Subaru, but I had a long commute for half the life of it, so the miles are pretty high even though they're not over the lease yet.

I'd rather do a larger monthly payment then put thousands down up front. My reasoning being that if something happens half way through the lease and the car becomes a total loss, I still have money in the bank.

How much more time do you have on the lease? I had offers coming to me from dealers wanting to pay out the rest of my lease 6 months before it ended.
