Those early adopters that cashed out last year are so lucky. They made millions. iirc that porn guy that used to post here made 40 million off crypto. I only made $3,000 off an alt coin. I probably would have made more if I put everything into it but thought this thing could end at any moment.

150% drop in a year with no recovery? What are your even talking about? It's only been 5 months since the highs. You realize BTC was $3k-$5k in November? And that things similarly went bad from Jan 2017 to July 2017 right?

Yeah, you're right. It's only been 6 months. In December it was at 20k, and now it's at 8k.

I love how people in here even admit they don't really know what was going on and that they blindly invested or listened to people but now it's all "I told you so".

Well, I'm not an investor. The only reason I know much about it is because I wrote for a financial website that exclusively covered it for a while.

I fail to see where my post indicated I blindly invested or 'listened to people'.

Nah, wait a full year at the very least before making final arguments.

That's just moving the goal posts. A full year from what? The drop. So every time there is a massive drop off I should start the clock before I'm allowed to comment on it?

Also regardless of anything, people in the crypto generals are still making money every day. Just off a $5k investment, I'm able to make about $1k a week. Not bad at all.

I'm not saying there is no money to be made anywhere, I'm saying that it's not sustainable and that the vast majority will not.

You make good points, but a lot of it has been said for years before and often disproven.

This is a real non-statement; so I make valid points, but because they are old, they don't count? And apparently they have been disproven, but you can't point out specifically what has been disproven ...
