This school is over 90% Black based on a friend told me who read an article. The Teacher and Student are both white. The teacher approved it because he picked a former KKK member to do a history project on. When the students confronted her about this approval.. She said, "The KKK is no different than the Black Panther Party" which blew my mind.

A student who showed up to high school dressed as a Ku Klux Klansman did so as part of an assignment -- reportedly with advance approval from a teacher.
Still, the head-to-toe costume -- complete with infamous conical hood and a white, fabric mask with two holes for eyes -- sparked outrage when classmates saw the student outside a history class at Harbor Teacher Preparation Academy in Wilmington, California, then learned the outfit was teacher-sanctioned, CNN affiliate KABC reported.
"It kind of rattled me. It was hard to believe that (the teacher) would allow a Klansman to walk around from her approval. So, we asked her, and she ... compared the Klan to the Black Panther Party, which in my opinion are two different things," rising senior Trinity Young told KABC. "So yeah, it was troubling."

Another rising senior, Eliza Dumag, told the station, "I'm honestly questioning why she would think it was OK. I mean sure, he was a historical figure, but is that really a historical figure you want roaming around the school? It's not right."

Eh I don't really think it's wrong to do a history project on them but I think that's more a college subject as they'd probably be able to handle it better. You sure as hell shouldn't be dressing up as one though

"He wore it like throughout the school, like in nutrition, lunch, things like that. I don't think that's appropriate," said Lance Dantignac, a rising senior at the school.

It's the fact that he wore that to school. I would be pretty pissed if he just changed right before he presented his project and that's it... However, I would somewhat understand THAT. To walk around wearing it all day at school... That's an idiotic decision by that Teacher. He is lucky he didn't get his ass whooped.

If the costume was for a class, then that's fine, but the costume should have only been worn in that class and not up and down the halls.

Yeah him picking the guy to do a report on plus having an outfit and wearing it is pretty suspect. Evidence definitely points to this not being innocent
