Won the first fight easily and then got crit stomped in the second one so I used a CP continue. I wouldve won without it if I hadnt eaten so many crits through Waver buffs. Im basically in the final stretch now I think. Im really not looking forward to fighting Gawain again. Even with Euryale and a friend Orion the first time he nearly wiped me out

What the fuck just happened. I was one turn away from winning this fight and I dont even know what the hell happened. Camelot spoilers Ozy like sucked Shiki into a black hole or something as a regular move and then he buffed his own defenses so much I couldnt even do more than triple digit damage to him. I dont know what the hell happened to Shiki though....I mean neither enemy used anything like that before and neither NPd Shiki. She had like 8k Hp left and was just magically removed from the fight. Ugh what a fucking cheap tactic

Hopefully my horrendous Dokkan summon luck means Ill get Archer Artoria in one or two multis. Luck has gotta swing the other way eventually. Almost done with Camelot now, but Im a bit worried I might need my Command Seal continues for the last two characters I need to beat and I already used them the other day >_>

Thanks, Im gonna need it. My worst fear is getting multiple Marthas or Maries and no Artoria or having a gold archer card be Arjuna or something. Ive got like 60 tickets and 300 quartz or somewhere around there so thats like a 20% chance maybe I dunno. Maybe this will be the one time where saving pays off since literally all the other time I did resulted in mega failure

We'll be getting another 10 tickets tomorrow, so your chances should be a bit above 50%.

I think all the swimsuits servants would be okay to get other than Caster Marie, who I really don't want.

He still got me down to a single Servant again. I had horrendous charm luck though so that didnt help. Both skills and 2 NPs failed to charm. Only 1 fight left now, but I am switching to chain grinding. Its going well (got 4 of them in like 3-4 plays) and I only need a couple more to get this dumb mask off Serenity

once I get Serenity I will keep her in her mask forever

yeah, probably

he gains about 60k HP, but his damage reduction is reduced by 20%

that's pretty big considering how much HP he has initially (over 400k)

So what are good craft essences to be maxing out on levels anyway.

And are any of the Welfare ones actually good investments to get to a high level? Like Golden Sumo and Gudao seem okay to me. And Halloween Princess if I had it. Maybe His Rightful Place?

I dunno I just haven't drawn many 5* CEs that are worthwhile in multiples (have a few decent ones at 20 or 40 level) but don't want to squander this bonus EXP. Should I just continue to store EXP in low level CEs until I draw some stronger legit 5* ones?

I mean I know I'm never going to get Golden Sumo to 100 but is it worth it to go high on it vs random 5* CEs or is it just "good for a welfare CE" On paper it feels like 15% attack boost would be a fairly strong fairly unique ability. Not sure any 5* even do that

Feed your garbage CEs from friend point draws into low level 3* CEs you don't want to save the accumulated EXP for later. That's really the only cute trick you can do that isn't 100% intuitive (it costs less QP to level up low level CEs and you get 100% transfer of accumulated EXP if you feed a leveled CE into another one)

Other than that there isn't much of a trick other than praying for great successes. I guess buying Event CEs you don't necessarily want for EXP is a thing you can do too.

I only level up CEs when I run out of room, and then I just pick a high-star CE and put in a bunch of the trash CEs into it.

What profiles as a good servant for it? A high base attack servant with no flat attack buff in their kit I assume? Or do buff types even interact with CEs?

Oh, I just mean it's not as good for Support Servants, and there might be other specific CEs that are good for specific fights. Golden Sumo is basically always good in basically every fight though. It's actually kinda better on low base attack Servants, and no regular attack buff is also a plus, but it's still great even on someone like Jalter.

I'm sure this is kinda just splitting hairs anyway but this game does have a lot of weird intricacies in its mechanics so I just wanna make sure I'm understanding things correctly

So, one of the key things to look for in CEs is the stats they give. Some of them are 100% attack/0% HP, some 60/40, some 0/100. For your offensive Servants, you want the CE to have as much Attack as possible, since offense is way more important than defense in FGO (it's one of the reasons that you don't want to use a 2030 on your attacker - it's incredibly useful, but it only gives HP. It's also the reason Bond CEs are bad - they only give 100 attack and 100 HP). At level 100, Golden Sumo gives a bonus of 2000 Attack, which means your Servant with not so great stats is suddenly a monster on par with much higher rarity Servants. This is awesome on everyone, of course, but it makes an even bigger difference on weaker Servants - going from 9000 to 11000 ATK is much bigger than going from 14000 to 16000 (though the latter is still awesome).

The 15% ATK boost is 15% no matter what, yeah.

But if you had it and another random thing that scales to 2000 attack at high level it wouldn't necessarily be better on the low attack servant for the actual effect

Also I assume you don't have any good 5* Gacha CEs MLB'd. I mean like, Victor of the Moon MLB rules on Buster Crit Servants, but getting a good 5* Gacha CE MLB'd takes a lot of luck (or whaling).

My only gacha 5* CEs I've drawn more than one of

Victor of the Moon (at level 31 of 40)
Limited Zero Over (at level 37 of 40)
Heaven's Feel (at level 63 of 80)

The first two look pretty decent. Heaven's Feel looks pretty viable to MLB as I only need to draw one more but I'm not sure how good it really is and it's hitting steep EXP requirements. I was tentatively going to level it to 100 but I wonder if welfares aren't stronger.

All other 5* CE with more than one are welfare CE.

Heaven's Feel is not very good. It's not bad, but even an MLB Heaven's Feel gives a lower bonus than a regular Black Grail... Golden Sumo is definitely a much better CE in general. Joint Recital, the Nerofest 2018 CE, is also quite a bit better.
