I thought the color fit her. Oddly enough at the end of the show's intro Leonardo is shown in yellow/neon green.

Even more awkward, pause at 15sec and go full screen. The driver is in a plain shirt with the turtle head on and the mouth wide open so he can see. WTF were they thinking? XD

The same reason the foxes from the comics and the lizard from the cartoon show had boobs: the writers are mostly male.

Yeah.

She could've been a welcome addition to the team, but they had to mess it up by giving her special powers and having her defeat Shredder once and for all during her debut. That's probably the worst way they could've handled her.

But at least with foxes that teats and a use for them This was just odd. I mean her boobs were under he shell so they would do nothing but get in her way. I mean this had to come from higher up then the writers some had to say give that turtle boobs as mandate.

How do we know the yellow chest piece isn't removable? It isn't according to normal turtle anatomy, but these aren't normal turtles.

If some guy had it in his head that the costume designers should give the girl turtle boobs, he probably had it in his mind that there was a way to access them.

Or maybe half-formed, non-functional boobs were that guy's fetish. I've seen worse.
