I meant to bring this up before, since the replays show how long the turns are, but you might want to.consider playing hearthstone more slowly.

You don't have to go full "lifecoach" and rope every single turn, but maybe set a timer for yourself and simple refuse to take your turn until 20+ seconds have passed. Sometimes that's all it takes to avoid a blunder or to spot an alternate line of play that's better in a more subtle way.

Even on turns where you literally only have one viable play it can be useful to use your time to consider your opponents next turn.

Just had an arena game where I did 30 damage to my opponent with a single Mana Wyrm. Opponent froze it a couple of times but couldn't finish it off, ended up hitting face for 9, 10 and 11 damage.

So I played 4 games of taunt Druid and got 4 straight miracle rogues

Right after I switched to miracle rogue and got 4 straight odd paladins.

Is wild 90% Jades, mostly Druids but some Shamans? Because I played a bit yesterday and so far that's my experience.

Every day I play the game, the ladder is streaky in some variety. I played 3 mages out of 3 games last time I logged on. There are a decent number of jades on wild, but it's hardly the whole ladder. (Though I often do my part with my patented jade rogue.)

Omg the sorcerer apprentice from unstable dream finally happened to me

I had a violet teacher stick and like played a storm to clear his board and used unstable on a token and got a ooze I used it on the new token and got the appentice. I then proceeded to unstable a full board.

Without any further information regarding the decks, how do you play this turn?

It was arena, at I think 3 wins. I have about 27 or so life.

Play blessing of wisdom on the 5/5 and go face. Trade the 2/2 into the 1/1 and the 6/2 into the 3/2 to play around con, mct, and silver sword. Play get down to protect from a hit with a stega. Play the poison taunt to counter stega and taunt.

I'd do the same, but I'd trade the 5/5 into the 3/3 and have the 6/2 go face and throw caution to the Consecration/MCT wind.

Just went 12-2 with shaman in arena. My deck was like really good. Multiple board clears, good minions, master of realities and violet teacher stuff. Combos with ancestral spirit, and deathwing to top it off.

My last match was against a warrior and I had a bonedrake and used an ancestral spirit on it. I then used the discover 6/3 to get the shaman spell stone and used it and played my hand because I have deathwing.

My opponent goes all face and just starts to rush me (which is the right play). But I mean I play deathwing which clears his board, I get two 6/5s too and two dragons in my hand.

Other great things that happened was like master of realities into ancestral and then in the next turn drop violet teacher a free spirit wolves from the discover etc.

Worth noting I didnt see cavern nightmare inducer this run

Control Mage being tier 1 on the latest Data Reaper means that we'll likely see more of them on ladder, which means more counters, which is not great for me playing Control Mage.

On the other hand, we'll get more players who don't really know how to play the matchup. Just had a mirror match with someone who got Jaina 5 turns before I did, but didn't know what to do once I stopped playing things and he couldn't make Water Elementals. As soon as my Jaina came down it was over because he kept giving me free 3/6's by flooding his board with minions.

He played a relatively early Alanna too despite me not playing a single Dragon's Fury yet, which did not end well for him.

Control mage has never stayed relevant in the meta for very long. I would not worry about it long term.

Still can never say what my alleged "alts" are. The only other account I had, was DonnyG33, which I deleted before making this. Never had more than 1 account because I dont have the insecurity you do.

Shudderwock Shaman is nearly unbeatable as Control Mage. Token Druid is also particularly tough.

I think token will require less dust so ill give that a spin. Im still mostly just playing arena because of the event.

Currently 3-0 with a mage that has 2 pyroblasts. It also has 3 Curio Collectors (4/4 that gets +1 every draw) with a metric ton of card draw.

I'm pretty even against Recruit Hunter. A well-timed Polymorph or two usually stops them, and if you can avoid getting hit in the face for 7 or 8 then you're usually okay.

I've never beaten Shudderwock with Control Mage. I don't see it too often, but once I'm sure that it's what I'm playing against, I concede just because I'd rather take the loss and get into another game.
