My dad's a "Red Tory". He's socially liberal, often votes for the Conservatives for business purposes, but swings over to Liberals every couple elections or so, it seems.

The rest of my dad's side of the family lives in Wyoming. Pretty staunchly Republican (fun fact: my grandpa voted against FDR)

Mom usually votes Liberal or NDP. Her side of the family is pretty blue collar so they usually stick with the NDP (social democrats. think Bernie Sanders+Canada)

hippies, my dad hasn't voted since he voted against Nixon when he first turned 18. My mom used to vote for socialists or green party back in california but here in arkansas she increasingly votes democrat

extended family is all very, very conservative, though not in an establishment GOP sense. My dad's family is more wealthy, so they're a little closer to that, but they're also incredibly religious. My mom's side of the family is trailer trash at best and criminal at worst and they love Trump

Liberal (Canadian so they are politically center). We hate the NDP though given their history of fiscal mismanagement.

My dad has never spoken about politics once in his life (that I've heard or heard of). I think he voted for Obama's 2nd term, but I don't know anything beyond that.

I don't know what my mom's politics were like pre-Reagan, but she says Reagan made her a Democrat cause she thought he was a madman who would provoke nuclear war. She has voted Democrat ever since.

Pretty liberal.

They had voted for the liberal democrats in the past (as their local councillor was pretty decent) but when they got into bed with the tories that lost favour and not sure they really support any of the main parties now - certainly not labour or the tories and their local party lost all lib dem support so eh.

my dad was center left my whole life. he shitted on Thatcher whenever she was brought up and voted for Obama
but something changed. after my younger brother left for college, he started watching Fox news and ended up voting for Trump. he doesn't really resemble the dad I grew up with

my mum is weird. she's always been cool with various types but she buys into things like Brexit

tbh idk how my brother and I ended up so liberal

Both sides republicans through and through. As for the children I'm independent and my youngest sister is liberal. Older sister is probably liberal though she's more just progressive.

Brother and other sister are both republicans.

mother, brother and i are moderately liberal, other brother and father are moderately conservative (though this is in the UK, in the US they'd pass for democrat), i have the most left-libertarian views of all of us

parents are religious but practically never bring it up, neither of my brothers or i are

we all have offensive senses of humour though

most of my mom's side of the family is on the conservative side. bunch of rich people in Saskatchewan. my mom is... probably a demsoc

on my dad's side, it's mostly socdems who are ripe for radicalization. my dad is definitely a socialist. not sure which flavour he favours though.

I'm a socialist. one sister is studying soc and related stuff at university. I think she's a socialist, though I don't think she's read much explicitly socialist theory. might be a demsoc or a socdem.

not sure where the other sister falls politically, though she seemed receptive when I gave her a simplified version of some socialist theory.

Mixed. Everyone under 40 is liberal. My mom is moderate but leans conservative. My dad has gotten more and more conservative as he's gotten older, but stopped short of voting for Trump. I probably do have at least a few Trump voters amongst my family but I don't know for sure.
