Not defending the "womp womp" but it does get old listening to libs cherry pick stories to further their feels over reals arguments.

Sorry kids can't be allowed to sit in adult detention centers where they would be easy victims of violence. There are medical personal on site that can and will help this child and her disability while their parents are processed.

Stop feigning outrage for political brownie points.

Could you quote where I made a claim that could be construed as outrage? Exasperation maybe but not outrage.

Anyone able to properly address the point rather than how you "feel."

Its political brownie points because libs don't care about the child with Down Syndrome. They only care about propping her up as a puppet to rile up their base.

Republicans care about hundreds of millions of people they don't know, Americans. That's why they are doing their best to stop criminals from crossing into the country and harming legal residents.

Republicans don't care, though even about their own citizens. They only care about themselves and how much money they can get from sponsors to stay in power and try to pass their bullshit stone age laws.

Lol

Thank you for confirming my point.

It is literally beyond your comprehension that maybe, just MAYBE, a distressed child saddens us.

Don't put children in cells with strange adults. Keep them with their parents. Someone needs to explain to me why this is difficult. Japanese internment camps kept families together. Furthermore, since you're concerned, children separated from their parents can also be easy victims of violence.

Theyll dress it up a million different ways, but the answer is simple keeping families together is a less terrifying deterrent. They might be tempted to come over as long as they can stay together, come what may. The threat of taking their children, throwing them in cages, maybe never to be seen again? Now thats a deterrent.

Because it's much more dangerous for her to be locked up without proper supervision. It is much more important to allow her caretakers who understand her condition to care for her compared to other children. Especially when there is zero evidence that they are putting people with knowledge of and experience with special needs children (preferably Downs syndrome). Not to mention she is such an easy target for bullies if she's by herself.

Like, why would you not know that kids with Downs syndrome need more attention than other kids? Questions like this make me think maybe you should have picked Stupidity_King for your username. Because that's how idiotic you are being.

Man I almost was going to applaud you for trying to put forth an actual logical argument rather than one of feels.

Then you just randomly ad hominem...

Either way, the logical thing for legality's sake is to simply have trained people in the detainment centers or to bring one in if enough down syndrome children are being taken. If only one or two, that's not enough statistically to matter.

No, ad hominem would be if I said you were stupid. What I said was that your question is stupid. There is a difference.

It's like, if someone came on here and said "I think Christians shouldn't go to jail for any crime. If they confess their sins to God, that's enough," you would think they were being stupid right? To the point where you might be annoyed at even having to argue.

That's what I think. I think it should be so obvious to everyone that putting a kid with Downs syndrome in facilities like these, I kind of resent having to argue.

The thing is, these facilities have something like one adult for every hundred kids. That makes it extremely unlikely that kids with special needs are getting proper care, even if they have properly trained people there. Someone else said this:

iClockwork posted...

which is an extremely vague statement. Even if they were in proper facilities with good adult supervision, that would be unsatisfying. When we have hundreds of kids on mats in chain link enclosures, the idea that this is enough to be confident that a kid with Downs syndrome will be getting proper care is also ludicrous.

My bringing your username, Knowledge_King, I admit does not help my argument. I saw the low hanging fruit and couldn't resist the joke. Please forgive me.
