2) this game was better than breath of the wild and persona 5

3) only complaint: the sidequests were mostly dull

4) I kept thinking about how much it's going to suck playing kingdom hearts 3 and NOT having this type of fluid fighting

5) yoko taro's the new kojima

4. Eh, probably not, IMO. I'll miss stuff from it probably but KH3 combat has looked fun from the trailers we've gotten.

Half of the sidequests were dumb but I felt like the other half enriched the world a lot. The Wise Machines cut like a knife.

It was the other way around for me. I ended up missing some gameplay elements from KH2. Particularly aerial combat. The dash/evade from this game however is godly and that will certainly be missed.

I think I like KH style play more for some reason.

Probably the lack of those shmup elements. Which are cool, but should probably just stay in Nier.

The dodge in nier is one of the most satisfying actions i have ever done in a game.

Also up there are the animations for literally every single attack in this game

I get what you mean though

I wish the combat was more interesting. There were some interesting bosses but I felt it was really style over substance a lot of the time.

I thought like 85% of the sidequests were very compelling, narratively at least. Gameplay wise it was a lot of repetition, but they were still worth doing, unlike most of Nier 1.
