I've played Shadow of Chernobyl and New Vegas. If I replay New Vegas I'd have all DLC and probably mods. I've never played the NV DLC, is there enough to make a new playthrough super worth it? If I play Call of Pripyat I'll do it vanilla

Call of Pripyat is excellent. Not quite on Shadow of Chernobyl's level in my opinion, but still an amazing game. If you enjoyed SoC, you'll like CoP. STALKER everytime man.

I think the start of Shadow of Chernobyl is some of the best worldbuilding and atmosphere ever constructed. But I'm concerned about CoP because apparently you play as an elite soldier entering the zone rather than just some guy well you're not really just some guy in SoC but that's how it feels

Of course I'd be skipping Clear Skies because I've heard it's a lot weaker

Well I mean that's just a fact of the series, though New Vegas is not exactly squeaky clean in comparison

I've always been in the "Skip Clear Sky" boat. It isn't bad, but it's nothing special. It did a few cool things, but SoC and CoP are much better.

The world and atmosphere aren't as good in CoP. Still good, but it doesn't replicate the same feel of SoC. Being a Soldier doesn't mean shit, you are way out of your element, and The Zone is even more dangerous due to the events of SoC. So don't let that deter you. Dude has no idea what's in store for him in The Zone, he may as well be a Rookie Cop on his first day.

Hey for Shadow of Chernobyl you should look up unofficial patches

Also there's boxes in the Top of the inventory, you can put the anomalies in those and they will grant their passive effect that way. Took me way too long to figure that out

If you've played New Vegas without the DLC and have a chance to remedy that, take it asap.

The Zone Reclamation Project is a collection of bug fixes.

I tried call of prypat and it stutters like hell even running on high FPS on my computer. I have a gtx 1080 and it is almost a 10 years old game.

Soc was smooth for me, cop i stopped becuase the stuttering makes me physically sick
