Shakur also pointed that this country was built on gangs and is still run by gangs. He lists republicans, democrats, police department, FBI, CIA, as gangs. Even says the correctional officers in prison straight up told Pac that they were the biggest gang in there.

Frats and sororities in colleges are gangs. Clubs are gangs. Motorcycle clubs are literally biker gangs. So yes, they can be positive. Street gangs can do so much if they organize. They may beef with each other, but it doesn't have to end in violence and destruction. It's a matter of organization. Pac new this.

Not sure I follow. The topic title says: "Reminder that THUG Tupac Shakur believed gangs could be positive."

My response is that I think that if a gang removes violence and all the 'negatives' to become positive, it is no longer a gang. It becomes a fraternity or organization.

He's implying that a organization of young black men will still be seen as a potential threat doing positive work until white people are incorporated to "legitimize" the good intentions.
