Was expecting the worst, came out pleasantly surprised. It was definitely entertaining.

The T-rex does not play any significant role in the movie. It shows up as a cameo a couple of times and doesn't really do anything.

The first Jurassic World was a 6/10 movie which felt like an 8/10 in comparison to JPIII.

The trailer for Fallen Kingdom makes it look like it'll be a lot better than the last one. For one thing, it appears to focus on actual dinosaurs instead of the Tostitosdon. For another, it doesn't have those damned kids to drag the movie down.

Don't get me wrong, the kids from the first movie were awesome. Tim and Lex rank among the best child characters in any movie. Steven Spielberg has a great respect for childhood and knows how to bring the best out of child actors.

The same can't be said for Jurassic World though. The younger brother was alright, but Zack should've been dino kibble. <_<

Some characters made some pretty stupid decisions that they only made to move the plot forward because no human would be dumb enough to do things like that.

Also fuck the trailer for making me think Jeff Goldblum would have significant screen time in this movie.

Pretty ok. Second half had a nice feel even if dinos in the regular world feels kinda like a rehash of Lost World. I especially liked the part where they turned out the lights, knew it was out there and had to sneak through the display, felt actually tense.

Fallen Kingdom had better action, better characters, and greater suspense than the last film in the series. The last movie may have had a slightly more spectacular finale, but everything leading up to the finale was much, much stronger in this movie.

J.A. Bayona is definitely going places.

The first act was alright, and then it went into a tailspin. Awful writing, but pretty good directing

It's the Full Metal Jacket of Jurassic Park movies. The first half is stronger, sure, but the second half is highlighted by the inclusion of an engaging new character (Animal Mother / Indoraptor) and a suspenseful finale.

It was ok, my girlfriend cried at the Brontosaurus scene and hug my arm so it was all good.

If I had gone in with low expectations I might have liked it. Instead, I went in with no expectations at all (also didn't see Jurassic World) and was disappointed.

Basically, a few good action scenes and everything else was shit.

Jurassic World was hot garbage and the trailer for Fallen Kingdom looked worse, not wasting my time or money on the franchise anymore.
