Ive worked concerts for various music genres, and I can honestly say if the crowd wants to fight they are going to fight. They only thing you can do as a security team is squash it quick enough that it doesnt escalate to a brawl, but thats rarely the case in a crowded venue. The owner is going to lose out on a shit load of money excluding an entire genre like rap/hip-hop.

The owner feels that fans of the rap genre are more likely to shoot someone if a brawl breaks out, and Im saying you have a chance of a shooting any time a brawl breaks out. The best way to prevent them is by squashing a fight fast enough that it doesnt escalate to a brawl. Black folks arent the only ones that shoot people over disagreements. The owner is wrong for excluding a whole genre of music over one incident.

Where are you getting black folks from? Also, I'm been to hundreds of shows and festivals, the music makes a difference. I like I see some occasional fights, weapons, destruction at pop punk to punk, to any type of metal. And EDM show, especially a festival? Everyone looks out for everyone and has a good time (usually while fucked up)

it's just really funny that there was a huge shooting at a country concert not long ago and people still think hip hop is the problem

because they equate it with certain people

guarantee if a shooting broke out during a country or EDM concert they wouldn't say "we're no longer going to play EDM at this venue"
