I had the GBA port and spent weeks playing it. Getting the "best" ending was a pain in the butt. And then I kept playing it.

could never beat it. I forget exactly which level it was, but somewhere in the low 90s. could only advance with a level skip item, and only got that lucky a few times.

edit: I forgot, this one had several versions. I had one that, iirc, came with a bundle of shareware and freeware games.

Hearing this again really makes me want them as fighters in Smash Bros. for some reason. They could have a stage and everything.
